Viewing an Assignment as a Student

Students can view their assignments from both the home page and the class details page.

Home Page

On the home page, there is an Upcoming section at the bottom of the page. All the upcoming assignments due in the next seven days will be listed.

To access the class details page, click the class name underneath the Class column. To access the specific assignment listed, click the assignment name under the Lesson column.

If an assignment is overdue, the date and time underneath the Date column will appear red.

Any upcoming assessments will be displayed as a notification above the assignments list. To access the assessment, click Go there now!

Class Details Page

On the classes dashboard page, find the desired class and click Go to class.

Any assigned lessons, projects, or assessments will be displayed under the All Assigned section.

On this page, there is a quick view with several pieces of information regarding the assignment.

  1. Title: For lessons and projects, the assignment code will be formatted as follows: curriculum abbreviation (A for Algebra 1, P for Pre-Algebra, G for Geometry, A2 for Algebra 2, etc.), chapter number, assignment number, and assignment title.
  2. Type: This indicates the assignment type. For lessons, this will be either Application or Exploration, and for projects, it will indicate the industry. Assessments do not have different types.
  3. Career(s): The careers discussed and spotlighted in the assignment will be listed in this section. This is only for lessons and projects.
  4. Assignment Notes: If applicable, any assignment notes for the student(s) will be displayed here. This is only for lessons and projects.
  5. Due Date: The assignment due date and time will be displayed here. This is for all assignment types.
  6. Open: Click here to access and complete the assignment.
  7. Mark as Complete: Once lesson or project has been completed, click the checkbox to submit the assignment to the teacher. From there, the teacher will be able to score the lesson or project.
Assessments do not have assignment codes. The title will indicate the assessment type: Beginning of Year, Middle of Year, or End of Year.
