On the P2C home page, click Add a class in your Classes section. If you do not see this option, select View all.
A dialog box will display to set up the class. Enter a class name, select the primary curriculum, instructional format, and school year. Select a class color and click the Create button.
The primary curriculum cannot be changed once the class is created.
- The primary curriculum selection will determine the default curriculum displayed when assigning material to the class. Because the P2C Math Assessment is designed to show student progress in a single curriculum throughout the school year, assessments can only be assigned from the primary curriculum and are not available for the Design Your Course feature.
- The instructional format choices are as follows:
- In-person: All classes are held with the personal presence of students and the teacher.
- Online: All classes are held virtually.
- Blended: Some classes are in person and some are virtual.
- Distance learning: Classes are taken virtually by students without teacher interaction.
- Currently active is the indicator used to hide or show this class to students in their P2C view.
- The class color is a visual cue to help identify each class.
The new class will be displayed with its class name.
The class name text in the class tile will reflect the class color selection.
